Job Description:



PCU EXPERIENCE PRIMARY REQUIREMENT for this 30-bed PCU unit. RN CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN MEDIUM TO LARGE SIZED FACILITIES. EPIC EMR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. ICU EXPERIENCE also needed for sub-population within this unit. This unit admits COVID-19 patient population with PCU acuity with possibility of transitioning quickly to ICU acuity before transferred out to ICU unit. MUST have BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Stroke Certification. May be required to float to other related areas. SKILLS required must include Vent management, along with comfort level managing patients with ventricular drains, drips including: Amniodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, pressors, etc; Central lines (CVP and AL), plus more related critical care patient care. Must pass basic dysrhythmia, basic hemodynamic monitoring and medication exams as well as an Epic 'test out' on first day. 36 or 48 hr Guarantee to be discussed in Interview; may also discuss every other or every weekend schedule (every other is assumed unless every weekend is discussed and agreed upon). Overtime shifts most likely available. Safety Sensitive position*





SAINT FRANCIS COVER SUBMISSION SHEET MUST BE INCLUDED IN PROFILE SUBMISSION OR WILL BE DECLINED. MUST have OK license in hand at time of submission and have permanent address a minimum of 100 miles from facility by most direct route.
