Job Description:

Bearwood Concepts, Inc is a design, development and manufacturing company that produces architectural millwork for commercial, residential, and hospitality applications. We specialize in New Construction, Remodel Work, Retail, Service Work, and Installation Work. We are currently seeking Cabinet Hangers /Installers. Summary: Mills and a ssembles precut and prefabricated wooden parts to form complete units by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications; determine layout and work sequence.
  • Setup and operate a wide variety of woodworking tools and machines.
  • Measures, shapes, adjusts, trims, and sands parts and joints to make parts fit snugly.
  • Applies glue and inserts dowels, nails, or screws to fasten parts together and form complete units. Further, installs hardware and assembles completed units.
  • Possession of basic tools and transportation to job sites.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time.   • Some overnight travel will be required Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use and interpret a tape measure using 1/16ths. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
