We have immediate openings for National Board Assessors in Tulsa, OK!Pay is $22/hr.What is a National Board Assessor?National Board Assessors score candidate responses to portfolio or assessment center exercises and are trained to look for evidence of a candidate's practice through the lens of the National Board standards. Assessors are compensated at an hourly rate of $22 (plus any applicable milestones) for all training and scoring activities, and the regular work hours are 8am 4:30pm, Monday Friday, for the duration of the project.Pearson is the global leader in computer-based testing for information technology, academic, government and professional testing programs around the world. Pearson VUE provides a full suite of services from test development to data management and delivers exams through the world s most comprehensive and secure network of test centers in more than 180 countries, where we validate the skills and knowledge of millions of individuals every year.Requirements: Conferred a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Eligible to work in the United States Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to maintain a confidential work environment Must be capable of working on a team Teaching or school counseling experience is requiredMajor Responsibilities: Evaluates portfolio or assessment center entries in a reliable manner and scores according to customer supplied scoring guide. Successfully internalizes training and customer scoring guide. May be required to pass qualifying test before scoring. Must be able to put aside personal biases and apply scoring guide according to customer requirements. Must be committed to working the duration of the project.
