The position is Monday - FridayFox Rent A Car is a subsidiary of Europcar Mobility Group USA, which is a significant player in the USA mobility markets. Europcar Mobility Group USA operates through 3 major brands meeting customer-specific needs in the value, premium, and discount markets, respectively, with Fox, Rent A Car, Europcar, and Goldcar.We seek an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with an eye for detail to assist with the company's billing operations and processes. You will identify, research, and reconcile billing errors while reporting accurate data to the Corporate Staff Accountant team. Additional duties will include reporting all credit card processing, verifying and issuing customer deposit refunds, and liaison with third-party chargeback collection partners.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create accurate monthly invoices, collection, and cash application of those invoices using multiple systems and formats cohesively.Extensive analysis and reconciliation of all company billing accounts in the reservation and transaction systems.Must be able to research to identify billing errors and variance explanation preparations for Journal Entries as needed to resolve discrepancies independently.Telephone, fax, e-mail, and mail invoices and letters regarding collections.Reconcile/process the daily credit card transaction reporting and reconcile via Excel.Research, respond, and report all disputed credit card charge losses following company policies and noting exceptions to those SOP.Adjustments, process refunds, and take payments to minimize open aging receivables in both company systems.Collaboration of the writing implementation and staff training for the department duties.As assigned by the A/R Manager, any special projects as the need arises.Education:Associate degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field of study or comparable experience.Experience:5 years of accounts receivable, collections, and customer service experience are needed.Skills:Professional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess sound judgment.Independent research and decision-making abilities based upon Company policies for full resolution.Strong Excel skills are a must.
