Job Description:

more than 160 million patient encounters annually.We are seeking an
IT Specialist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. Patient Service
Centers and Client Offices. A typical day could be spent supporting
users and systems in the lab, a client office, -or LabCorp patient
service centers.Schedule: On-site, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am, 5:00
pm, with weekend rotation and on-call. The successful candidate
will have the following skills:
- Knowledge of Network connectivity types for devices such as
facilities equipment, cameras, WAP, Desktops, laptops, switches,
printers, copiers, laboratory instruments, VOIP phones, TV
conferencing, TV signage, etc.
- Capable of working with vendors for installation questions and
giving directions onsite. Examples: ISP installers for circuits,
CAT6 installers, TV installers, copier vendors
- Able to assist as smart hands for IT hardware installations and
validation systems are working as expected
- Knowledge of network security is a plus
- Knowledge of Laboratory instruments connectivity is a plus -
TCP/IP & Serial
- Knowledge of Windows 10 desktop support (onsite and
remote)
- Must be able to travel between sites each day in OK, while
being based in our Tulsa Lab
- Must be able to lift IT hardware up to 50lbs and ability to a
climb ladder
- Install and configure appropriate software according to
security and operations specifications
- Place orders for IT related hardware and complete asset
management once received.
- Receive and secure IT hardware until installation
- Ensure Security and Privacy policies of networks and computer
systems are followed.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
(repair or replace parts, debugging, reimage, etc.)
- Manage tickets for Issues and projects in ServiceNow
- Clearly communicate with internal and external users at all
levels of the organization
- Work well with customers
- Have experience training clients in person and online
- Be capable of staying calm when others are not
- Be available to share on call responsibilities with others on
the team.
- Have reliable transportation
- Take responsibility for an issue until it's resolved and
working with others on the resolution as required
