Our client, in the Utility Industry is seeking a Siting Specialist to join their team. As a Siting Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental Department. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask effectively, cross collaboration skills and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Siting Specialist

Location: Tulsa, OK - hybrid

Pay Range: up to 37.85/hr

What's the Job?

• Ensure that transmission siting/environmental/permitting activities are performed in accordance with the policies, practices and standards
• Organize the environmental studies to meet in-service dates and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the oversight of outsourcing related to siting/environmental.
• Work interdependently with a multidisciplinary project team to identify buildable, cost effective routes and facilities which minimize environmental impacts.
• Determine siting/environmental/permitting risks, tasks, scopes, and cost estimates. What's Needed?
  • Overnight travel to facilities and projects (field work) is required.
  • Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, Microsoft Office computer applications is desired
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Land Use Planning, Environmental or Natural Science, Engineering, Geography, or related field.
  • A minimum of one to two years' experience working in Utility Siting and/or Environmental Specialist or equivalent. What's in it for me?
