Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating all routine radiographic equipment in
a safe and proficient manner.
- Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire
a quality scan
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth
patient flow
- Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast
fluid
- Must be able to handle patient support equipment, i.e. I.V.
pumps and pulse oximeters
- Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and
reactions
- Be available for 24-hour call back with a 1-hour response
time
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Technical or Associate's radiography degree
- Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
- If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered
within one year of employment
- Active BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year of MRI Tech experience
