Maintenance Procedure Card Quality Assurance Specialist will
update, correct and administer Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPC)
and administer in accordance with Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
Development Process Guide. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *
* Review RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), MPC, and TCTO
(Time Compliance Technical Order) documentation provided by
Government and commercial sources against CG Reliability Program
Process Guide and Planned Maintenance System Development Process
Guide requirements to ensure they are ready for publication to the
web. * Provide comments for improvement if required, and
performance measurements. * Write, rewrite, or make changes as
required to MPCs to ensure they meet the requirements of the CGTO
PG-85-00-230-G Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development
Process Guide. * Provide deliverables that identifies the number of
MPCs and TCTOs developed, the number of MPCs and TCTOs reviewed,
and the number of MPCs and TCTOs that passed review. * Trend the
Quality Assurance (QA) measure for each MPC and TCTO source over
time and propose remedial action. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
* This position has no supervisory or management authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree is required in the
Engineering field * 6+ years of relevant experience. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Candidates must be US citizen * Selected
candidate will be subject to a US federal and state background
investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen * Selected
candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
clearance * Proficient in the use of the web-based SFLC Central
tool for MPC tasking progress and updates. * Knowledge of the Coast
Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) maintenance procedures
and processes * Skilled in developing Maintenance Procedure Cards
for the USCG (ideally) or Maintenance Requirements Cards for the
Navy. * Skilled at using SFLC Central Activities. * Skilled at
using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, etc.). * Good
written communication skills. * Skilled in analytical skills and
research capabilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT * Work is performed
primarily in a climate controlled office environment. EXECUTIVE
ORDER 14042 Pursuant to U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042,
Cherokee Federal is now requiring that all employees be fully
vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8th. An individual is
considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the second dose of a
two-dose vaccine (i.e., Moderna or Pfizer) or two weeks after a
single-dose vaccine (i.e., Johnson & Johnson). As a prospective
employee, you will fall under this requirement and proof of
vaccination will be needed for on-boarding, should you be selected.

may not have yet been implemented. Limited exemptions for religious
or medical reasons will be considered. TEMPORARY NOTE: On Tuesday,
Dec. 7, a federal judge issued an injunction blocking President Joe
Biden's COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors (EO
14042). Cherokee Federal is monitoring the court case and awaiting
a final ruling. As a result of the injunction, Cherokee Federal is
halting the enforcement of the mandate, however, if the injunction
is lifted and the mandate remains, Cherokee Federal must reenact
