Roxtec is seeking an individual for the Painter/ Ginder Technician position based in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for finishing operations, including painting, grinding, and sanding, to welded and machined assemblies. This position reports to the Fabrication SupervisorRoxtec Inc. Job SummaryThe Painter/ Grinder Technician is responsible for finishing operations, including painting, grinding, and sanding, to welded and machined assemblies with a focus on quality.Essential Job Functions Grinding of welds per drawing, shop orders and welder's instructions using various grinding tools to break or smooth sharp edges of finished assembliesOperation of power tools including large electric and air powered grinders and large belt grinders.Basic inspection of welded and machined parts & assemblies to ensure quality workmanshipApply primer and/or paint processes as needed per shop orders and specifications including the handling, use, storage, and disposal of volatile, flammable and combustible materials.
