lives.Position SummaryInterfacing with medical advisory boards,
economic buyers, and clinicians -- particularly emergency medicine
physicians, paramedics, EMTs and nurses in both the pre-hospital
and acute care hospital space, this position sells and promotes
Teleflex?s portfolio of emergency medicine products to grow overall
market share with new and existing customers, generate new
business, and create total customer satisfaction. ?This position
acts as a valuable resource to those involved in emergency medical
procedures and facilitates improved patient care while increasing
clinical value to medical professionals as well as to Teleflex
Incorporated.Principal Responsibilities??? ?Exceed sales quota for
assigned territory. Maintain existing, and prospect / gain new
account in-servicing to medical directors, emergency medicine
physicians, paramedics, nurses, EMTs and administrators in the
emergency medicine pre-hospital and acute care hospital spaces.
??? ?Develop and maintain in-depth profiles on accounts (customer
preferences, competitive products and field intelligence, market
activity, important contact/decision makers, customer feedback, and
??? ?Use SF.com effectively.
??? ?Use business analytic tools and territory knowledge to conduct
strategic territory management business plans.
??? ?Develop key opinion leaders for each core emergency medicine
??? ?Account for all territory expenses and materials.
??? ?Within channel, remain abreast of new device / competitor
??? ?Attend and support regional / national tradeshows (setup,
booth coverage, and breakdown of exhibit).
??? ?Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills as
well as superb presentation skills.
??? ?Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with our continuous
education program through competency assessment.
??? ?Delight the customer.

?Education / Experience Requirements??? ?A bachelor?s degree is
required, with 2-6 years? sales experience. ?A master?s degree is a
plus. ?Prior experience ideally includes selling devices to
hospital, emergency care (in hospital or pre-hospital). ?In absence
of medical device sales experience, transferable skills could
include successfully selling a broad base of technical products,
B-2-B and/or financial or complex services to a highly professional
client base in a broad geography. ?Such experience must be at a
level sufficient to offset for the absence of key medical device
sales of a ?big bag? (or product mix) that is sold, with related
interface to clinicians.
??? ?Self-directed, able to work independently and handle multiple
projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
??? ?Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving,
communication and interpsonal skills required
??? ?Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office
suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
??? ?Ability to handle difficult conversations along with excellent
??? ?Clinically knowledgeable -- with a history of utilizing basic

??? ?Strong grasp of market analysis, planning, development and
