Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing a range of accounting duties related to banking functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Tracks stop payments and voided checks on all accounts. Performs as backup for providing copies of checks. Provides reports of outstanding claim checks. Maintains check log for reissued checks and responsible for obtaining signatures. Responsible for preparing and scanning journal entries to the general ledger and serves as backup for preparing claim entries. Responsible for the monthly reconciliations. Assists in preparing weekly, monthly, and annually reports for all checks issued. Responsible for maintaining bank database transit routing number table. Responsible for sending all check files to the bank and reviews accounts. Responsible for uploading ACH files from database. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Highly organized and attentive to detail. Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check. Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time. Possess strong oral and written communication skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in accounting or related filed preferred. At least three years of experience in Accounting, preferably in the banking industry.
