Job Description:

contractor (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication) focused on
innovative delivery of, cost-effective solutions.
ENGs expertise reaches three main market verticals: Oil & Gas,
Energy & Renewables, Government, Automation & Integration. Services
include EPF/ C(m) (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and
Construction (Management)) projects with a large portion of
self-perform work.
The Process Engineers primary function of responsibility is the
development of process systems and projects from inception through
construction and start-up in the Midstream Oil and Gas
Industries.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams
(PFDs) and Heat and Material Balances
- Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (steam methane
reformers, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, columns,
separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of
equipment data sheets
- Support FEED studies including providing capital cost
estimates
- Prepare material selection diagrams
- Perform line sizing calculations and develop line list
- Define process conditions for design and specification of
mechanical equipment
- Lead and/or participate in HAZOP studies
- Monitor and analyze process and equipment performance data and
provide technically sound and industry leading guidance for
achieving and maintaining peak plant performance
- Ensure knowledge sharing, application of best practices and
continuous improvement efforts across the plant sites
- Perform assigned project justification, economics, analysis and
process engineering for selected projects
- Assess equipment failures and guide root cause analysis in
major equipment failures
- Assist in investigating and addressing product quality issue
- Prepares cost estimates for fabrication, construction projects,
or Engineering services.
- Prepare cost change orders/changes from technical documentation
/drawings submitted by client.
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or
subcontractors.
- Confer with engineers, customers, sales staff, owners,
contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost
estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as
planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid
meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of
estimate.Desired / Preferred Qualifications
- Midstream Oil and Gas experience preferred
- 2+ years industry experience
- Experience in process simulation (HYSYS), VMG, Pro II
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent team member working with a senior process
Engineer
Education RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in Chemical
Engineering from an accredited college
