Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Ultrasound Tech - Vascular /n/n Job Details: /n • Perform diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate images and measurements of cardiac structures /n• Provide immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians for life-saving treatment intervention /n• Assist physicians with complex procedures including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, Lariet procedures and pseudoaneurysm compression /n• Perform adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo /n• Conduct peripheral vascular procedures including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler /n• Operate ultrasound equipment and utilize ancillary devices such as selected transducers and digital networking system /n• Exercise judgment in notification of abnormal results to reading physician /n• Maintain proper documentation according to lab, departmental, and hospital policies /n• Participate in on-call rotation after regular business hours /n• Six months of related experience required /n• High school diploma or GED required /n• Must maintain current competency and registry (ARDMS or CCI) in specialty practices /n• Required certifications: RDCS or RVT from ARDMS, or RCS or RVS from CCI, plus BLS /n• Must have skills in Chronic Venous Insufficiency /n• Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills required /n• Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program preferred /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac and vascular diagnostic department that provides critical imaging services for complex cardiovascular procedures.
