Job Description:

Administer and maintain employee benefit programs. Communicate benefit details to employees and respond to inquiries about benefits. GENERAL SUMMARY :Administer and maintain employee benefit programs. Communicate benefit details to employees and respond to inquries about benefits. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) : Respond to employee phone and email inquiries benefits questions, problems or procedures. Field various departmental and staff questions. Provide accurate and timely information; perform benefit-related audits as needed. Administer web based benefits system administration and management. Prepare benefits packages for new employees and manage open enrollment process for all locations. Work extensively with broker and carrier representatives to completely resolve escalated claims and benefits issues in a timely manner. Recommend changes to benefit plans and programs. Audit and process benefit plan invoices for payment. May be involved in management of Health Savings Accounts and 401(k) deferred compensation in accordance with plan compliance. Develop and deliver the necessary bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly eligibility reports. Participate in the process for annual 401(k) true-up, audit, discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation. Review and assess efficiency of internal/external policies and processes and recommend appropriate changes. Support Human Resources team with HR generalist duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent directly related experience required. 5+ years of progressively responsible and difficult professional experience in Human Resources and Benefit Management. Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, DOL, developments pertaining to the Affordable Care Act and other benefit regulations. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization Excellent organizational and analytical skills Productive work habits including attention to detail, follow through and the ability to prioritize and complete work activities in an efficient and effective manner. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Knowledge of Excel and Windows at an intermediate to advance level. Demonstrated professionalism, judgment, and discretion in working with sensitive information. Cypress Environmental Partners, L.P.
