Endocrinologist opening in OK Located in Tulsa, 49m to Muskogee Full Time Position Group and Clinic have an excellent employment opportunity for a board-eligible or board certified Endocrinologist. You would be joining an established group of 7 other physicians in Tulsa, OK. Benefits Package Health and Dental InsuranceLife InsuranceAccidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceLong Term Disability Insurance401k/403b/457b ParticipationProfessional Liability CoverageVacation (25 days plus 7 federally recognized holidays)New Year s Day Good FridayMemorial Day Independence DayLabor Day Thanksgiving DayChristmas DayRelocation AssistanceRecruitment LoanCME Allowance of up to $5,000 annually Population Served Adults (Ages 18 years) Practice Support Administrative Staff: Clinic Director/Office SupervisorClinical Assistants: All providers have (1) medical assistant plus (1) medical assistant float position that rotates among providersPatient Service Representatives: 4 total for the office Clinic Details Location: Springer building, 2nd FloorNumber of exam rooms: 2 exam rooms per providerOffice: All providers have their own office spaceEquipment: 2 Ultrasounds in department (Guided) Hospital Privileges All physicians provide consults (Approximately 1-2 per week) Schedule Mon- Fri 8:00am-5pm (Providers work 4 days )Visit times vary 15 minutes for follow up to 90 minutes for new patients (depending on physician) Call 1:7Hospital: Each provider takes call every 6 weeks for 1 week at a timeLess than 10 calls in a week, few of which require going to the hospital In House-Hospitalists cover Expected Volume New patients: 1-2 per day Follow up patients: 10-20 per day- varies between provider preferencePercentage of Diabetic vs. Endo will vary, depending on physician Referral Pattern 3 months out for new patients Teaching Opportunity Not currently providing but open to discussing Highlights Three diabetes educators on site Urgent Care on first floor of buildingSpecialist located within same building (Podiatry & diabetes education)ENT clinic is located across the street All providers use dragon and type their notes into Epic About Health System Health System is an integrated, medically based, not-for-profit health system.
